Pre-print Policy

The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Health Sciences and Research (IJMHSAR) supports the early and responsible dissemination of scientific research. It encourages authors to share their findings before formal journal publication. In alignment with the standards and best practices advocated by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), IJMHSAR permits authors to post pre-prints (defined as the version of a manuscript before peer review) on recognized non-commercial pre-print servers such as bioRxiv, medRxiv, or institutional repositories at any stage before or during submission.

Posting a pre-print is not regarded as prior publication and does not compromise the originality or eligibility of the manuscript for consideration in IJMHSAR. Authors are required to disclose the existence of any pre-print at the time of submission and provide the corresponding Digital Object Identifier (DOI) or persistent link.

Following acceptance and publication, authors must update the pre-print record to include a direct link to the final Version of Record published on the IJMHSAR website, thereby ensuring accurate citation, transparency, and appropriate linkage within the global scholarly communication ecosystem.
